The Kidde 20SDR-CA is a AA battery-operated, single-station smoke alarm that provides continuous protection even during power outages. Two AA batteries are included.

• The smoke alarm is AA battery-operated with no wiring required.
• The Hush™ button temporarily silences nuisance alarms for approximately 8 minutes.
• The test/reset button tests the unit’s circuit operation and resets its memory after an alarm condition occurs.
• This smoke alarm uses photoelectric technology. Photoelectric sensing alarms may detect visible fire particles (associated with slow smoldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms. Ionization sensing alarms may detect invisible fire particles (associated with fast flaming fires) sooner than photoelectric alarms. Industry experts recommend installing both ionization and photoelectric smoke alarms to help ensure maximum detection of the various types of fires that can occur within the home.*
